The Silojet 27 has been specifically designed for filtering the displaced air from silo filling by lorry loading tankers. Despite it’s compact size it delivers a 27m² filter area utilising the minimum filter required through years of proven experience of research and testing. The Silojet 27 is primarily designed and used on sealed silos but offers a fan assisted version allowing it to be applied to other process filling applications such as mechanical means.

This easy to maintain filter unit features a hinged lid and
low profile body to allow easy access for changing filter cartridges. The
Silojet 27 also features a 4mm mild steel fully welded hot dipped galvanised
construction offering excellent corrosion resistance and extended life. The
rigid construction protects the integral strength of the filter casing in the
event of an overpressure situation caused by a blockage of the pressure relief
valve.

Built using tried and tested technology, the Silojet 27 uses the same reverse jet cleaning technology developed for the Cartrijet range of filter units previously applied successfully on many installations throughout the UK. Cleaned air is allowed to discharge back into the atmosphere, whilst retaining the dust on the outside surface of the filter elements within the filter dirty air case and silo.. Each row of filter cartridges are continuously cleaned in sequence by a jet of compressed air released from the header tank controlled by a reverse jet station. The jet of compressed air rapidly inflates the inside of the filter element, dislodging the dust cake from the outside surface.

Typical applications include cement and aggregate silos in concrete batching plants, limestone and mineral silos in aggregate plants, additive and supplements in animal feed plants and flour silos in food plants.

Earlier in the year when COVID-19 first impacted the UK, Heaton Green along with over 70,000 volunteers answered the call and combined to deliver over 1.2 million items of PPE to front line services.

NHS nurse Ashleigh Lindsell started “For The Love of Scrubs” back in March at first by making scrubs for colleagues at the Pilgrim Hospital in Boston due to a “dire need” of medical uniforms which were both ill-fitting and uncomfortable. After starting to make her own scrubs Ashleigh was encouraged to drive a social media campaign for other volunteers and from there the call gained national outreach and ultimately helped to provide safety for thousands of front-line workers.

We would like to thank those employees at Heaton Green who stepped away from their usual day to day duties and out of their comfort zones to help in the effort to help the NHS Mid Yorkshire Trust.

We would also thank Ashleigh for being the inspiration in such a difficult time and would like to congratulate her on what is a wonderful achievement of been appointed an OBE.

At Heaton Green we strive to create improvements in order to deliver a better service to our customers. From our quotations through to manufacturing and delivery we continually review our processes and systems to ensure that our customer is always at the forefront of our minds.

Recently Heaton Green has adopted system integration to deliver improved operational procedures in stock management, purchasing and order processing which in turn has helped to streamline the manufacturing process to help deliver an improved customer experience. Our process involved finding a solution that delivered the functionality that was previously convoluted into two independent systems that didn’t communicate and also offered better reporting and stock management. Having looked at available solutions on the market we then looked for a partner to help deliver that solution to meet our requirements.

Learn how we
partnered with leading solutions company Signum in the delivery of SAP Business
One and the positive impact it has had on our organisation to deliver both a
better customer service and operational improvements.

As the impact of coronavirus or COVID19 impacts on everyone and businesses around the world we are working to ensure the continuity of operations at Heaton Green. Our first priority will always remain the health and safety of our employees and with this in mind, all employees who can are now working from home for the foreseeable future and those people involved in manufacturing are continuing at their normal workplace with additional protocols to enable a safe working environment.

Not only are we working
to ensure the continuity of our operations but last week we used our expertise
to cut fabric for local sewers to provide scrubs for a local care home, through
the power of social media, the NHS Mid Yorkshire Trust have asked us to
volunteer to help them achieve their goal of making 2,500 scrubs with the first
1000 required ASAP.

Here at Heaton Green we have diversified our ability from manufacturing bespoke filter bags in to making scrubs for our amazing NHS to help those on the front line. The first delivery of material arrived on Monday and we are working hard to get our first 1000 dispatched as soon as possible.
